Twenty years ago people would ask themselves what are streaming services. and how. they benefit entertainment. My actual definition I would define a streaming services as video platforms that offers entertainment to a certain audience. Now in 2022 there are over 300 streaming services but that wasn't always the case because it beginning cable was taking over. Back in the day you used to only have to pay $30 a month to just have satellite cable to watch all of those are expensive shows you could've also had an old fashion TV in a regular antenna to watch the local channels on TV. You could easily watch the movies on any channel or gone to a video store to rent them. Then in 2005 everything changed when Netflix came out as a streaming service after that Hulu HBO and many more. Overtime Cable on demand went down and was taken over by streaming services it's still used but only to watch certain programs on channels are exclusive to it.
Now that I introduced streaming services I want to talk about a couple things including the pros and the cons in the popularity so you get to know the familiarity of this phenomenon. Start by talking about the popularity of the service depending on accountant it has. Lets talk about the popularity the most popular services on Netflix Hulu Disney plus HBO Max and Funimation based on ratings. Each service is unique in its own way categorized by the content it has for example Disney plus only has all the properties owned by Disney for watchable content. Even the original which is original movies or TV shows produced by the streaming service whether it's Hulu Disney Netflix Crunchyroll or even Apple TV+ it carries its own content.
Lets start by talking about the pros of the streaming services. First the the price is really cheap to pay monthly from seven to $20 a month so it depends on the service you have and the plan you put it on kind of like a cable network. Second based on the type of service it comes with HD. graphics which means you can watch the old movies in HD like the. modern day. thirdly you can watch exclusive originals that can only be found on that site such as-the MCU TV shows and The Icarly revival.
As for the Cons which are few in their respective. First off. You. can only watch. the. content it offers and not what you want. Second there may be series that come and go replaced by new media. The final one is you need the internet to power it up. It wont work without an internet connection. Apart from that It should work fine. ands bring enjoyment.
That's my little lesson on streaming services. Go ahead and pick your service whether you're a Disney and marvel fanatic or an anime Otaku or even a one Warner Bros moviegoer every service has something for you.
