Through the years there have been a lot of different disaster in this country. There have been wars and incidents that have changed the countries future. One of the most well known disasters is the 911 attack that occur at the turn of the century. It has been twenty years since that attack and its made a lot of changes. The history channel is doing a three day documentary to commemorate twenty years. Due to the fact that's it's been twenty years It will be analyzed in three ways. First the attack itself followed by the control damage and the aftermath. that covers any memorias documentaries paradies and much more fallowed in the last twenty years.
On September 11 2001 there was a plane hijack by Islamic terrorist. These planes were heading to California from the north western part of the country. The planes crashed into the World Trade Center causing major consequences. There were 2,996 lives lost that morning causing shock to arise. Due to this a lot of places were closed that day. Later it was known that the terrorist group Al Qaeda was behind the Tragedy. It was stated that the leader Osama Bin Laden engineered everything.
The Control damage was shocking tearing families apart. A conflict with Afghanistan started and U. S. immigration security was raised to a high level. The damage to the trade center caused some problems in the economy. Over the next couple of years the hunt for Osama Bin Laden continued causing war as a retaliation. Ten years later Bin Laden was killed by the U. S. marines. After his death President Obama gave a speech puting it to rest giving hope the people hoping the trauma would wash out.
Over the last two decades there was quite an impact on society regarding the attack. First off there was a memorial made in NY City dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the atack. There have been several Documentaries on it as well. It has also been mentioned in media that includes references and parodies. This mostly happened in adult shows like South Park and Family Guy referencing it a bit. The media has been lucky enough to interview people who witnessed it or were affected by it.
After twenty years the scars still remain and the land mark still stands. This reminds us of the tragedy that struck that Tuesday mornin that changed a lot of lives. Now we look to the future for a better tomorrow that will someday free those who lost it all on that dreadful day.
