Violet Evergarden Review

  Its  anime  weekend  normally i  would talk about certain genre  but instead  i  will talk about one of anime's most  emotional masterpieces blending two genres that i will cover in the future. The  series is known as  violet Evergarden  One  the  few anime/manga that blends the drama/ romance  genres together.    The  story   more based on   drama.  I  will explain the  story and unique style along  with  the message.  I  will finalize with the  movie  review.

   The  story  takes place in the 19th century  during  the  war  before  the  phone  existed.  It  centers around  a girl used as a tool for war.  Raised by a soldier who  got attached to   the  girl.  At  the  end of the war he  disappeared after saving  her life.   He named her Violet Evergarden and told her he love  her.  He entrusted her to his best friend  having him look after her. During  that  time Violet tries to  forge her identity  by becoming a doll who writes letters for people. She refuses to believe that the soldir that raised her Gilbert is dead.  In the end her main goal is to find the meaning of the phrase  i love you. She  will discover it  by putting the feelings of others in paper.

  The Story of Violet Evergarden  Is  known as an  emotional  masterpiece with amazing animation that pulls you into the story.  This  is  character study with emotional development. Having the character learn what emotions are   and craft her identity.  thats what  makes it  special.  The letter she write  for  people have a story that comes along with it.  Some  letters are happy others are tragic  and so on.

Unlike Other  anime Films the movie is  time skipped    concluding  her story   emotionally. when something is time skipped  starts in the  future  telling the past  story.   In  this movie Violet keeps writing letters to  Gilbert   still believing that he is still alive.  In  this movie Violet tries to find closure to  that assumption. It is full of emotions  that hit  the viewer in the feels.  It  takes a look into her heart and feelings and closes it with an astonishing ending that will leave you in tears. I give the movie full  marks and  recommended it.

In the end this is a well recommended series with 4 nominations anime awards. So Give  Violet a chance to tell her story and  experience it emotionally. This  series  is  the kind  that people relate to.  Even if its anime it's still a muture story for all ages.   after seeing it  think to yourself what the phrase I love you means.  This story will give you that answer  that may change the way  you look at life just like her.
