Sword Art Online Progressive Movie

Sword  Art Online  is  a popular  series  written by Reki Kawahara  that  his spawned 25 light  novels , three anime  seasons  and  a  movie.  The  story  is  based  on  a young  teen named  Kazuto kirigaya who dives in a virtual MMO  video  game.  He  soon realizes  that  the game  doesn't have the logout  feature.  The GM reveals that  the only way to escape is to beat the  game.  There is only one catch if you die in the game you lose your life in the real world.  

  The  series  has   six different  arcs one  containing nine light novels.  The most recent one Unital Ring is  half way done. The anime  covered five of the six   arcs  following Kirito and  Asuna  on their path  to  development.  The  series  does emphasize  a lot on artificial intelligence and virtual technology  showing their audience the difference between VR and real life.

   Out  of all the arcs the first one was the most popular  because  it tells  the story on the  death game.  This arc is called the Aincrad arc which explains how Kirito and friends escaped  SAO without dying. Due  to  its popularity  the author  decided  to release a side story  series going in deep  to explain the  arc.  This side story  series  was named  Sword Art Online Progressive    explaining everything  that  got cut out in the first arc and anime.  It dives deeper into  relationship  between the main characters and it tells the story from different point of views.

 A1 Pictures  announced the release of a movie  focusing on the progressive  series.   This movie covers the Aria Of A Starless Night  story  going back to the beginning telling the story from a different point of view.  This includes adding original characters and showing   brand  new animation.  Sword Art Online  Progressive the movie  has been announced for  this fall  season.   Time to go back to the beginning  and unlock the secrets on Aincrad that have been hidden for so long.
